2020 Polls: NDC parliamentary candidate for Sunyani West files nomination forms
Aspiring member of Parliament for Sunyani West Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mrs. Millicent Yeboah Amankwah has duly filed her nomination forms.

Mrs. Millicent Yeboah Amankwah filed the nomination forms on Wednesday, 7th October 2020, at the Electoral Commission’s office at the Odumase.
Mrs. Millicent Yeboah Amankwah, addressing the media said “this year elections are not about fighting as we have heard some rumors about the incumbent MP, who is planning to bring fake security personnel on the election day. We are not going to sit down to watch our opponents to intimidate us with any fake security personnel’s”.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Millicent Yeboah Amankwah will compete with incumbent MP Ignatius Baffour Awuah of the NPP fame for the seat as the representative of the Constituency in parliament.
She added that, Isha Allah I will win Sunyani West seat while former president His Excellency John Dramami Mahama is also going to win Presidential election”.
Mrs. Millicent Yeboah Amankwah also takes the opportunity to advise all the party supporters to be very careful when driving since the NDC party has lost 2 great people due to car accident.
She was accompanied by party officials and Supporters.
The Electoral Commission in September, opened nominations for parliamentary and presidential candidates, adding that the filled-out forms are to to be submitted between October 5 and October 9, 2020.
According to EC Chair, Jean Mensa, Presidential candidates wishing to contest the 2020 general election are required to pay a filing fee of ¢100,000 while parliamentary candidates will pay ¢10,000.
