The Inspector-General of Police, Mr James Oppong-Boanuh has paid homage to the Chiefs and Queenmothers of the Techiman Traditional Area on 13th October, 2020.

The Council, led by Nana Baffour Owusu Gyawu, Akwamuhene of Techiman received the IGP and his entourage on behalf of the Omanhene of Techiman, Nana Oseadeɛyo Akumfi Ameyaw IV.

Nananom expressed gratitude to the men and women of the Bono East Regional Police Command for their restless efforts in combating crime in the area.

Nana also advised the police to be as impartial as possible in their discharge of duties, to ensure a violence free election.

The IGP also thanked Nananom for their support for the Police in the region and assured them that the Police Administration will do it’s best to provide logistics for the police personnel in the Bono East Regional to enable them to work effectively.
